For over a week now, I have had a red-breasted nuthatch at my feeder. I
have seen it take one seed at a time, fly a short distance and bury it in
the ground, or in the base of a pine tree. It does this continuously.
Will it stay around long enough to find them when the weather gets bad?
It also chases away the chickadees.

This morning, there was also a red-winged blackbird. There are many of
them in the culvert across the street from my home, although I think most
of them have left. Some of them may over-winter.

I live in Pepper Pike, right behind Eton mall, near I 271 and Chagrin Blvd.
