Today I took advantage of the pleasant weather to clean nest boxes at the
preserve. Bird activity was moderate and mostly what one would expect this time
of year. I did observe several species worth posting. I also had a red fox
almost walk into me while I was taking a rest break.

Blue-winged Teal
Green-winged Teal
Northern Shoveler
WILLET
Greater Yellowlegs
Long-billed Dowitcher
Barred Owl
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Brown Creeper
Red-breasted Nuthatch
CONNECTICUT WARBLER
Yellow-rumped Warbler
