Today was the first waterbird survey of the year. There was a steady stream of gulls heading west and few non-gulls. Best birds were a SURF SCOTER flying amongst a small group of red-breasted mergansers and a RED-THROATED LOON heading east low over the water.

Weather- partly cloudy, Wind- West 10-15
Barometer- 30.04-30.06, Temperature- 48-50 F
Humidity- 78, Dew point- 34-35
Waves- 3-4 feet, Flight direction- west
