A Northern Shrike surveyed the fields from a dead elm, until a flock of 25 Cedar Waxings flew through the branches and dislodged him. I found the shrike again in late afternoon at the other end of the fields, along the power line easement.
Also 3 Fox Sparrows, 4 White Throated Sparrows and 20 plus Tree Sparrows scratching under various feeders and spruces. 15 Wild Turkeys passed by on their usual morning rounds and a lone Eastern Bluebird called from a perch in the apple tree.
