I checked out the Deer Creek Reservoir (Fayette and Pickaway Counties) this afternoon. For the date there was a plain vanilla variety of birds present and numbers weren't impressive either. I didn't visit the wetlands south of the reservoir today, but they might have offered more interesting birding. The warm south winds of today weren't good for plopping down many birds. I scoped out most of the reservoir, but most birds were in the northern section. Birds noted today included :
1 Mallard
1 Green-winged Teal
2 Ring-necked Ducks
3 Ruddy Ducks
6 Common Loons
3 Pied-billed Grebes
2 Horned Grebes
5 D-c Cormorants
~15 Great Blue Herons
1 Bald Eagle
4 Sandhill Cranes
~80 Killdeers
2 Greater Yellowlegs
14 Dunlins
~300 Bonaparte's Gulls
~500 Ring-billed Gulls
several Herring Gulls
