[log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 9 Nov 2007 11:14:57 -0500503_Windows-1252 This morning there were 21 Bonaparte's Gulls with only a few Ring-bills on Caesar Creek beach. If this flock builds up there could well be a fellow-traveler of another species with them.

The other day I had a call about a possible Snowy Owl in Clinton County on State
Road 350 in a field just west of Clarksville. Lenna Mae and I checked it out and found nothing as did Shane Eggleston. However, anyone driving around this area should keep eyes open for a possible sighting. [...]44_9Nov200711:14:[log in to unmask]

When I got off work this evening, I found that Lisa Brohl had left me a
phone message.

At 11:30 AM, she got off Rt 2 at the Bayview Rt 269 exit and saw two dark
Ibis land in the marsh there. She was unable to stop to try to view the birds
and make an ID.

Unfortunately, I didn't get off work until it was nearly dark, and tomorrow
I have to be at work at 6 AM. I hate it when life interferes with
birding....

If any of you are in the area, I hope you are able to relocate these birds.
