Pickerington Ponds Metro Park is south of Columbus. From I 270, take
U.S. 33  east towards Lanscaster about 3 miles. Take the Canal
Winchester/State Route 674/Gendor Rd. exit. Turn left onto Gender Rd.,
go about 1 mile & turn right onto Wright Rd.. Go about 1 mile to Bowen
Rd. & turn left. Glacier Knoll picnic & parking area is about 1/4 mile
on left.
 
     A  Short-eared Owl was observed hunting over the wetlands on Sat.
around 5:20pm
