Adding to the posting about the Lakewood Tundra Swans, I too saw a flock of Tundra Swans last night at about 10:30 pm (nov. 23rd), I would guess about 50ish.
Absolutely a beautiful sight, with the bright moonlight and silvery clouds. Another great sight today about 4:50, I saw a Kestrel (not sure if male or female, no binocs and dimming light) just down the road from my house. This is a field where I used to see Kestrels more frequently, and it has been quite some time since I last saw one there. Possibly a few years.
