Hello Ohio Birders,

At about 1:30 pm today I saw two Franklin's gulls among over 100 ring-billed gulls in a flooded field, east side of US 127, 3.5 miles north of its intersection with US 33 (DeLorme p. 44). There may have been more (Franklin's) but stopping along that stretch of 127 is dangerous (and illegal) and there was not a good viewing spot from Dutton Rd. (to the south). (I wasn't on a birding expedition, but returning from Thanksgiving in Chicago.)

Happy birding,

Dave Horn
