Dino Uszak reported seeing two large groups (100+) of Tundra Swans pass
over South Bass on Friday so I got out on Saturday and Sunday to see what
was here. Saw the following waterfowl on South Bass, most in the bay on
the south side of Perry's Victory as there has been active duck hunting on
the far east side of the island (usually the best location for watching.)
The numbers are increasing with the cold weather. Also saw a Bald Eagle,
Red-tailed Hawk, and immature Cooper's Hawk around as well.
