Just returned from Belle Center where we viewed our 14yo grandson's 10-point
whitetail - monster buck. Such a great kid!!
Passing by the old quarry site we saw hundreds of Mallards and a few
Canadas. Tried to make some of the mallards into something else but - no
just mallards. But so many!!

At home, our feeders have hosted so many American Goldfinches - probably all
totaled about 30+. And the House Finches are increasing in numbers. Of
course the House Sparrows have also come in droves!

BUT the neatest thing!! Our Northern Cardinal is back - hit the window, of
course. I couldn't see the female but I'm sure she was sitting safely on a
limb which giving him directions of where to go!! And best of all! One Junco
sat on the ground munching on the sunflower seeds.

WOW! Even in the rain, they are so much fun to watch.
Happy Holidaze Everybirdy
