For the past three days at the Marina Harbor, I have had the opportunity to observe a very unusual Double-crested Cormorant at close range. It has a one foot long antenna, somehow attached to it's back at a 45 degree angle; it has a silver colored metal band on it's left leg, and a wide yellow band with the black letters H8P on it's right leg. Someone is apparently tracking this Cormy. Has anyone else seen this situation? Or know anything about the tracking program?
Note: Photos taken!

Also of note: The three vehicle access points to the platform lagoon road and the sandspit area are now closed till spring as per the Conneaut Port Authority!
