Coming back from a funeral in Pa. today we had a pair of adult bald eagles on Rt. 322 going towards Jamestown just after crossing Rt. 193 in a corn field on the left. It was just after the Antique Engine Club on the right. It certainly brightened my gloomy day. Then upon coming home I looked out our picture window and saw:

Fox sparrow- 1
White-crowned sparrow-1
White-throated sparrow-1
Juncos- many

This was our first fox sparrow and white-crowned in our yard this fall.

Sally Isacco, Chardon
