Took about an hour walk at Shawnee Prairie west of Greenville this morning. I saw my first brown creeper of the winter season.  At least, it feels like winter.

birds seen/heard
red tailed hawk
turkey vulture
morning dove
red bellied woodpecker
downy woodpecker
flicker
bluejay
crow
C. chickadee
several tufted titmouses very actively feeding on weed seeds and flying back and forth from prairie to woods
white breasted nuthatch
brown creeper
C. wren
ruby crown kinglet
Am. robin
song sparrow
possible white crowned sparrow
juncos
redwing bb
cardinals
starlings
goldfinches
