My daughter and I made our annual "bunting walk" yesterday; a flock of 35-
40 snow buntings was at the end of the dune area near the HBSP breakwall. 
They wheeled and landed along the shoreline; a beautiful sight!
We didn't look for anything else, but juncos and WT sparrows crossed our 
path. Can the purple sandpiper be far behind? And how does the purple 
sandpiper escape being a morsel for the resident breakwall mink?
