I birded at Buck Creek State Park on Saturday morning. There are
extensive mudflats at the north end of the reservoir now and a few
shorebirds are still present. There were over 130 Killdeer, 2 Least
Sandpipers, 4 Dunlins, and 9 Wilson's Snipe. There were very few ducks
around but a flock of about 1500 Double-crested Cormorants flew over
headed south.
