I just had a juvenile NORTHERN GANNET fly by my house in North Perry about 10 minutes ago. The bird was heading west at a pretty good speed. It was flying by itself. Other birds of note so far have been 3 RED-THROATED LOONS and an early 1st/2nd year GLAUCOUS GULL. There have been good numbers of loons, scaup, red-breasted and hooded mergansers. I'll send a more complete report later.
