Hey all -

At least one, and likely two BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS were
seen well by a group of eight birders at Elmwood Park,
this morning. While birding along the railroad
tracks, we initially heard a Bohemian call and some
observers got a glimpse of a probable Bohemian flying
away with a group of starlings. While we were
discussing what we had seen and heard, a second
definitve bird passed over with a single starling.
This bird landed near the upper parking lot where a
group of robins and Cedar Waxwings were feeding.
Hurrying to the spot, we all had tremedous looks at
the bird - gray body, rufous-infused face and solid
rufous undertail coverts, and white wing markings were
seen by all. A short video clip, which may prove to
be definitve was taken. The whole flock eventually
moved elsewhere, but is probably still in the area.

Otherwise, 50 scoters were seen between Rocky River
and Bradstreet - roughly 50/50 Black and Surf. Snow
Buntings were also seen at Bradstreet.

Elmwood Park is located in Rocky River, a short
distance from Bradstreet Landing.

Good birding -
