Greetings all,

Had a rather productive last few days here in
Paulding. This AM (11/18/07) the ROSS'S GOOSE was
still present at the Thomas Wetlands (it disappeared
into the grass shortly after my arrival), as well as:

Canada Goose XXX
Snow Goose 6
Mallards XX
Greylag Goose 1
Ring-billed Gull 2

On my way to the Wetlands, had 3 Kestrels and a male
Northern Harrier on CR144.

This past Tuesday, at the intersection of TR71 & TR162
- had a flock of ~200 Snow Butnings fluttering about
in the corn stubble. This AM - a flock of ~50 Lapland
Longspurs were present with a few Snow Buntings along
TR114.

The Paulding Reservoir held a few birds this morning:

Canada Goose 7
Gadwall 6
American Widgeon 4
Ruddy Duck ~50
Snow Buntings ~40 (flyover)

The Nature Center pond held but three lonely Mallards,
and the Stokely Ponds produced nothing but two
Red-tailed Hawks. Happy birding!

- Scott Myers, Paulding
