I guess it's that time of year. While driving south on SR 257 just north
of the Home Rd. bridge across the Scioto this morning, I watched an
adult Bald Eagle soaring over the road and the (unfrozen) Scioto River.

Last week (Wednesday) I crossed the Scioto in Portsmouth and saw two
adult Eagles sitting in a tree along the flooded river.
I still can't get used to seeing these birds here, but they have become
a fairly common sight in the winter.
