An experienced birding acquaintance has asked me to post this for him
because he is not a subscriber. At their feeders, in Mayfield Village,
a suburb of Cleveland, they are seeing a European Goldfinch (most likely
an escaped bird) and he has taken pictures of it. If some one is
interested in looking for the bird, Wallie Mueller can be reached at
440-449-2684 to get more information -- I looked at it in Sibley and it
certainly is a gorgeous little guy.
