Thanks Lou for posting this information.  The bird views were sensational.

The police officer mentioned that two merlins had been observed regularly 
at the cemetery (almost like clockwork during a pre-night roost stop) over 
the last several years.  And he said the third started showing up this 
year. Do you have any info to add?  Were the birds always so unconcerned 
with being watched?  There were very oblivious to all the attention last 
evening.
