Karin Tanquist and I (Patrick Coy) had a productive Christmas day birding along the Lake Eire lakefront in Cleveland with 6 gull species and a modest but nice raft of Black Scoters.
Highlights-only include the following...

9--Common Goldeneye

Edgewater Park:
2--White-winged Scoter

55th St (at the small marina between 55th and Burke Airport):

1-Glaucous Gull
Great Black-backed Gull
Lesser Black-backed Gull
