Good morning,
Yesterday, my son and I headed out to see the
Harriers. The two were an adult female and a juvie.
Thankfully, they were there and active. Sadly, few
others were.
Location: Carriage Hill Metropark
Observation date: 12/30/07
Number of species: 10
Canada Goose (15)
Northern Harrier (2) --They were hunting, chattering
and flying between three locations fairly visible
within the field area of the park.
Mourning Dove (5)
Carolina Chickadee (7)
Golden-crowned Kinglet (5)
American Robin (5)
European Starling (14)
American Tree Sparrow (3)
White-crowned Sparrow (7)
Northern Cardinal (4)
