We had a flurry of activity at the feeders when the snow kicked up.
Among the early visitors was a sharp shinned hawk. Once it left we
had two pine siskins among the flock of gold finches. Downy, Hairy
and Red Bellied Woodpeckers stayed for most of the day on the suet.
White-crowned sparrows, juncos, cardinals, RB & WB nuthatches and a
Carolina Wren were a delight to watch. When the snow let up, the hawk
returned, scattered the birds.
