The immature Brant reported yesterday by Craig Holt was still at Evans Lake as of 2PM today. The location is the north side of North Lima Road opposite the spillway and pulloff. It is in the pasture close to the road in the company of Canada Geese. Also at Evans Lake, and all in large numbers, were 10 species of ducks, 2 species of mergansers, 2 species of grebes, Tundra Swans, Common Loons, and 1000+ Gulls. In the 2 hours to lap the lake , Jim Kerr and myself, had about 35 species of birds.
Note: Good photos of the Brant were taken!
