I was able to get away for a little while this morning and spend a few hours
birding the south end of Hoover Reservoir. It was extremely cold, probably
close to 0 deg. F with windchill. A little windy, but not too bad. Snowing
lightly off and on. I started at the Dam and spillway, and worked my way
northward along the western shore. It ended up being a pretty good day for

heading SW)
Horned Lark 1 (at least one, following closely behind the Snow Buntings,
maybe one or two more mixed in w/ the buntings)
