Highlights of a not-too-chilly morning

Gordon Park (by Dike 14) - 5 horned grebes, 1 pied-billed grebe (which I tried hard to make into Dick Hoffman's eared...), redheads, buffleheads, common goldeneye, long-tailed duck, hooded mergansers.

Gordon Park (E. 72nd St.) - too many ring-billed and herring gulls to count, a few Bonaparte's, about 10 great black-backed, 1 black duck, a few common goldeneye

  E 55th St. Marina - 20 coot, 2 bufflehead

Lakewood Park - Ross's goose not seen, also not found by J & R Blakemore whom I encountered at the next stop.

Rocky River Park - 4 trumpeter swans, bufflehead, common goldeneye, canvasback, ruddy ducks, lesser scaup, surf scoters.

  Cheers,
  Craig Caldwell, Westlake
