Had a nice morning at Slate Run wetlands.
No ice on the ponds,  but hten again very few ducks though lots of Canadas

300 Canada Goose  
10 Mallard  
2 Ring-necked Pheasant 
2 Great Blue Heron 
3 Northern Harrier 
1 Red-tailed Hawk  
1 American Kestrel 
2 Mourning Dove 
2 Belted Kingfisher 
1 Red-bellied Woodpecker  
1 Downy Woodpecker 
12 American Crow 
4 Carolina Chickadee  
1 Tufted Titmouse  
2 White-breasted Nuthatch  
9 American Tree Sparrow  
2 Song Sparrow  
5 Swamp Sparrow  
1 Dark-eyed Junco  
3 Northern Cardinal  
2 American Goldfinch 

also saw one dear peering back at me as I was watching some sparrows.  
Never would have found it if I had not been looking at the bird.  Her ears 
and eyes and nose were directly behind the bush which held the tree 
sparrow. When I brought the bins down , I couldn't see her but looked agin 
through the binoculars and there she was.
