This PM there was little on Cowan but it was good to get out and see what there was.
I had the following:

1 Bufflehead by the spillway
22  Ruddy Ducks - seen from Big Hill picnic area
1   Pied-billed Grebe - same place
200+ Ring-billed Gulls - over East end of lake and in water
1  Great Blue Heron - in reeds at East end

Bob Thobaben has recently observed a Surf Scoter near the South Shore Marina but I could not locate it.
