I know this is an Ohio birds list serve, but we have Thayer's Gulls here as well as a lot of great birders who know their gulls. Last week while everyone was enjoying all those great gulls at Huron, I was in California and photographed what I thought at the time was a Thayer's Gull. After coming home and looking at the photos I'm not as certain. I was hoping that anyone who is interested could have a look and send me your comments. I'll post any comments I get anonymously (or not at all if you prefer). Some of you may remember a similar page I had a few years ago on a sandpiper that some thought was a Western and some thought was a Semipalmated, so I thought I'd do that again.

Oh yeah, here's the link :

Please feel free to forward the link to all your gull expert friends in other states, especially on the west coast.
