got to the Geauga Cty line to look for the Shrike at 9:30 am but was welcomed only by three black-capped chickadees.

Hiked the oak leaf trail in S. Chagrin reservation; saw one male downy.

On my return to the Arboretum, I was treated to a lovely sight (and sound!) of 60 cedar waxwings feeding on a winterberry bush.
