While driving to work this morning I spied a flock of 10 or 12 Tundra Swans flying over SR 309 just east of the Allen/Hardin Co. line. A few minutes later, while heading north to ONU, I saw a flock of about 20 Sandhill Cranes flying low over the corn stubble immediately southwest of campus. Not bad for the drive in to work. Now, if I can only get paid for driving around and watching birds...
