  not all of the many folks on this list use Ebird.

  In point of fact, virtually none do.

  And here I thought I was attempting to introduce members of
  of the listserv to an alternative methodology ... one POTENTIALLY
  more illustrative and efficient. I had not imagined
  offending Rick, quite possibly the most prolific eBird contributor
  in Ohio. And I certainly would not have thought to offend any
  Ohio-Birds listserv user in light of having started this listserv
  for the very purpose of being able to have anyone ask such
  questions; defending that right for a little more than 6 years.
