The gulls at 72nd were jammed within the harbor point with pretty good light for viewing. I easily counted 12 adult LBBGs across the rafts There were three Glaucous gulls - 1 clean adult, 1- 2nd winter Iceland, no gannet, no hybrid. Numbers were astounding as always.

Following a queue from Lou Gardella's post of Calvary Cemetery I pulled into Crown Hill Cemetery just south of Twinsburg on Rt.91. I had driven past many times and had vibes that something should hang out there. Go in through the main gate turn right onto the paved road turn left onto "19", (little green marker) unpaved. Turn right at next road then turn left onto "23". You'll see a green shade canopy used for services and about 50 yds. beyond that the Merlin was sitting in a dead-ish looking tree. Happy NY, Greg C.
