Hello Everyone,
I visited Pickerington Ponds today on my lunch hour
and saw a single Wilson's Snipe exhibiting some
unusual behavior. As I was scanning the ducks in a
small open area of water in an otherwise frozen Ellis
Pond, I came across the snipe sitting on the ice. It
was hunkered down with its head tucked looking pretty
miserable! The only other bird of not was a Northern
Harrier.

Good Birding,
Brad Sparks
Reynoldsburg, OH
