Over the last 3-4 weeks there has been an influx of Crows into south
Columbus Ohio. Great Southern Shopping Center along South High Street
just north of I 270 used to boast of a small flock of Gulls that
frequented the line of fast food restaurants along the street. They are
long gone, replaced by a murder of crows that gather in the morning and
hang out all day. I also found a roost of about 200 crows just North of
104 just West of Lockbourne rd 8 days ago, A large group also was
observed last Friday flying from S. High St. toward the landfill at 665
and I 71.

Crows are usually found at the landfill but not in the semiurban area
along S. High. I wonder if this has been observed before as i have only 3
yrs experience in this area.

Thanks , good birding, Phillip North.
