The number of Tundra Swans present in the bay to the southeast of Perry's 
Monument grew with the colder weather-over 100 swans were present 
yesterday evening and today (2 Mute Swans in the mix.)More Greater Black-
backed Gulls are showing up now as well. Other waterfowl noted on a drive 
around the island on Thursday night included:

Double-crested Cormorant    xx
Canada Goose                xxx
Mallard                    xxx
Bufflehead                  xxx
Lesser Scaup                xxx
Redhead                     xx
Canvasback                   x
Common Goldeneye            xx
Ruddy Duck                   x
Hooded Merganser             x
