There were quite a few birders at Huron searching for the Sabine's gull this
morning. When I left at around 11:00 it had not been seen. We did have
juvenile NORTHERN GANNET fly by heading to the west. the bird circled west
of the impoundment then continued onward with a group of gulls on its heals.
Other birds of note at Huron were 2 surf scoters, 2 white-winged scoters,
and a couple common redpolls. Gull number were down considerably along the
river. There were quite a few to the east.

I stopped at Lorain Harbor also. There were several hundred Bonaparte's
gulls. the only bird of note was a 2nd year LITTLE GULL.
