We have had up to 20 or so northern harriers coming in to roost just
before sunset along the east side of the park road. After you pass the
Bird Center and go around the bend until the trees end on your right,
look out into the marsh.
It is quite a sight.   This was thanks to a tip from a visitor.
Other news:
The annual Lake Erie Wing Watch event will be in Erie county at
Firelands College on April 12.  Bill Thompson will be the keynote Lunch
time speaker. His topic will be "No Child Left Inside.......Getting Kids
