After all the reports the past few months and no sightings of my own, I was beginning to think that my feeders weren't going to be hosting any redpolls this season. However, this afternoon I finally got my first Common Redpoll at the thistle feeder out back. It only stayed for a few minutes, but long enough to motivate my filling of the feeders.
