Even though the "Oregon" junco is no longer a separate species, spotting one
in Ohio is worthy of reporting since that particular subspecies isn't
typically found around here.  Juncoes are usually the most prevalent bird at my
feeders in the winter, and in the 6 years I've been feeding the birds here I've seen
a grand total of one "Orgeon" junco.  Michele, I think if you saw one of
these you are free to consider yourself fortunate in my opinion.  Grab a picture
if you can!
