Hello,

Yesterday, Jan. 9, I spotted a Northern Shrike while birding at Grand River
WA in Trumbull County. (Delorme 43A4). It was perched on top of a tree
overlooking some small ponds and shrubby fields just north of Hyde Oakfield
Rd. It was visible from the road. Also to add to the redpoll invasion,
about a dozen common redpolls have been visiting my thistle sock feeder
since Christmas Eve, (Portage County-Paris Twp. Delorme 42C4). They seem
to like the sock feeders better than the tube feeders.

Thanks,
Aaron Bartley, Ravenna
