On the way to the Columbus area this morning an apparent lighter colored juvenile ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK took off from the bank on the side of the road (Wilson Road, northwest of Sunbury) along where they are constructing golf courses and new lots for sale.  On the way back home, not too long afterwards, I saw a juv. NORTHERN HARRIER in the same area of as yet un-disturbed field. Its nice to see that my winter friends haven't abandoned this field yet despite the construction in the surrounding area.
