Today, January 11th, Robert Epstein and I found two White-fronted
Geese in with several hundred Canada Geese in a flooded area at the
corner of Highway 2 and Benton-Carroll Road which of course is
perhaps a half mile east of the entrance to Magee Marsh. About a
half mile further south on Benton-Carroll Road we found a flock of 80
or so Lapland Longspurs on the east side of the road in presumably a
soybean field.
Cheers,
Karl Overman
