The Snow Buntings were back in our yard demanding seed this morning, together with American Tree Sparrows and Horned Larks. Numbers were similar to last evening (between 30 and 40 of each species) but with the addition of a handful of Mourning Doves. A few Dark-eyed Juncos, a few Song Sparrows, one Red-bellied Woodpecker, a couple of White-breasted Nuthatches and a couple of Carolina Chickadees rounded out the yard bird collection. A Northern Harrier winged by again as well.

Cheers,
Chris Caprette
