Dave Collopy got his 400th ABA bird today, four Long-ear Owls in the
alternate pine grove. Dave and I birded Ottawa NWR and Killdeer Plains
WA. Despite frozen water we had a great day. We found a Golden Eagle on
T 108 south of the sportsman's center. We got very good looks at it
before it flew off toward the sportsman's center.
