Avon Lake Power: The ice edge is pretty far offshore, and so were the birds. The usual 3 gulls and small numbers of common goldeneye, red-breasted and common mergansers, lesser scaup, and surf scoter.

Lorain Harbor (formerly "Hot Waters"): mostly open water, very few birds other than gulls, and only moderate numbers of them. [...]49_8Feb200810:04:[log in to unmask]
