After a weekend of virtually no birds at the feeder thanks to a hawk
perched above, I was delighted to get up this morning and find the
red polls were still about. The morning count was down to three
after I filled the feeders. Yard birds included about 20 goldfinches
and one female purple finch. We continue to have RB nuthatches as well.
Happy birding
Dorothy
