Just to follow up on John Habig's report - Shane Egleston and I eventually
found 9 Cackling Geese among 2-3000 Canadas. There were two groups,
one with 4 and one with 5 birds. There were many birds we could not
see clearly since they were bunched together in some areas and fairly
distant.

There was also one white Snow Goose.

The geese seem to spend the day in the area south west of the intersection
of Social Row and Sheehan roads. There is a road to what looks
like a new development on Sheehan just south of Social Row that provides
access to the fields.
